IndiaTimes has made an intriguing announcement. The company is going to shut down their email service in February next year.

They are no longer accepting new accounts. For existing users, the service would operate as usual till February 18 next year.

The company has not indicated why they are doing so. It is also not clear if they are going to offer forwarding services for existing users.

We can only hope that users can download their existing data saved on their accounts before the service is shut down.
