Instagram has already seen more than 1 million downloads on Android!

Instagram surprised market by launching their Android app for literally everyone yesterday.

The app worked on almost all devices running Android 2.2 or better. And they have been rewarded well.

The company has seen more than 1 million downloads of their Android app within a day. This is a phenomenal achievement.

We played around with the app at our end. We like the speed and the functionality but not very impressed with the overall size of the phone that is uploaded by the app. but that is something common with the iPhone app as well.
