Instagram 2.2 released with improved performance and support for Mixi and Weibo

Instagram has updated their mobile app for the Apple iOS platform. The latest version is Instagram 2.2 and it comes with following updates:

The camera functionality has been massively improved. The company said that it is now faster than ever before to take a photo for sharing online.

Instagram 2.2 now feature support for sharing to regional services like Mixi and Weibo. Mixi is massively popular in Japan while Weibo is huge in China.

Users can also now change their profile picture from the mobile app itself. There are also a bunch of bug fixes in this update.
