Instagram now has more than 40 million registered members

Instagram seems to have gained around 10 million new registered users in the last couple of days as they launched their Android version.

The company now has reportedly more than 40 million registered members.

Things are looking good for the developers as they also just got acquired by Facebook for a cool billion dollars (in cash and stock).

I personally have stopped using Instagram. But I really like how they have managed to change the mobile photo sharing scene for all of us!
