Now this is a strange partnership. Instagram seems to have added integration with Foursquare on their mobile app.

Instagram now links to Foursquare app on places section. User can check out more details about the place right inside the Foursquare app.

This collaboration is strange because Instagram is owned by Facebook which already has its own massive database of Places around the world.

Foursquare highlighted that you can use this new feature to add interesting places highlighted by your friends through Instagram in your Foursquare’s To-Do list.
