Kerry Trainor is the new CEO at Vimeo

Vimeo has announced the appointment of Kerry Trainor as their new CEO.

Kerry Trainor comes to Vimeo from AOL where he was handling the company’s entertainment and video properties.

He is taking over from Dae Mellencamp who would remain with the company as President.

Vimeo is one of the few alternatives to YouTube on the web today. It has a pretty loyal user following most of who pays for premium accounts.

Remains to be seen what Vimeo has planned for their users in the future!
