LG to showcase Intel processor powered Smartphone at CES 2012

LG is reportedly planning to showcase a new smartphone powered with an Intel processor at the upcoming CES 2012.

This phone is likely to be based on the Intel’s new generation Medfield which could become their first processor range to power Android smartphones next year.

If the device is good enough, LG might launch it in the following months. But for now, there is no surety.

LG and Intel had showcased a similar device running an older processor earlier this year but its launch was later on scrapped.

LG might not be dominating player in the Android market but it is a popular brand in the US market and Intel would gain a lot from this partnership.
