LG to stop development of Tablet PCs for the time being

LG has revealed that they are halting development of Tablet PCs. The company aims to focus on their smartphones as they are struggling to compete against the likes of Samsung and HTC.

The company has been launching a bunch of new exciting Optimus branded Android powered smartphones.

Remains to be seen if they can become a leading player in the Android segment of the smartphone market.

LG has also sort of halted development of new Windows Phone based smartphones. The company said that they are open to this market but not right now.
