LogMeIn launches a Dropbox challenger named Cubby

LogMeIn has become the latest company to launch a cloud storage and syncing platform. They have named their service Cubby.

Cubby offers features similar to Dropbox and other services. There is one extra benefit. You can use it to sync your personal data across your computers without using the cloud storage for free. There are no limits to how much you can sync as long as you are not storing it on the cloud.

Free accounts have a 5GB limit which alone makes it a viable service over Dropbox which offer 2GB for free.

They are currently in private beta testing. You can apply to become a beta tester.
