Mahindra XUV500 continues to get great response from the market

Mahindra has revealed that they received around 6000 new bookings after they started accepting fresh applications for their XUV500 SUV model.

They are planning to keep accepting more bookings in the coming days.

Mahindra said: “As a unique customer-centric measure, M&M has decided to undertake an XUV500 draw in this round of bookings in case the requests exceed 7,200 (bookings).”

It would be interesting to see how long it takes for the company to ramp up the production to meet the impressive demand in the market.

Toyota of course is in a similar situation with their Fortuner SUV model. There is a long waiting list for this SUV. Mahindra is likely to steal away some of their potential customers if they can increase the production of XUV500.
