Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer movies coming to Google Play and YouTube!

Google has signed up a deal with MGM to bring their media content to their Google Play and YouTube platform.

The deal covers the US and Canadian markets so the international users are again left out.

Internet users in these two markets would be able to rent out movies owned by MGM through YouTube and their Android devices.

Google said: “Thanks to MGM, you’ll be able to join in this trend and grab its movies online and on the go. From timeless love stories like West Side Story and Moonstruck, to sci-fi action films like The Terminator and Robocop, to modern classics like Rain Man and Rocky, you can now rediscover MGM’s movie-making magic on Google Play and YouTube.”

Google has similar deals with some other studios including Paramount, Warner Brothers, Disney, Universal Pictures and Sony Pictures. 20th Century Fox is one of the missing giants.
