Developers of the popular Twitter client for Windows MetroTwit have submitted their official app for inclusion into the Windows Store.

This version is optimized for Windows 8 and if certified would be listed on the official app store that is part of this new OS from Microsoft.

MetroTwit of course already has a desktop edition available to users of Windows 7 and some of the older editions.

Windows 8 edition is optimized for the Metro user interface.
