Microsoft aiming to launch Windows 8 in October this year
It is pretty clear that Windows 8 should be launched sometime later this year.
Online reports now suggest that Microsoft is aiming for October to launch it.
Bloomberg has reported that the company aims to finish the development work by summer to prepare for the big launch in October.
Windows 8 is going to be a huge launch for the company as they are going to support ARM processor powered devices for the first time ever.
Windows 8 is optimized for Tablet PCs which means that we would see it launching on all three computing platforms: desktops, laptops (netbooks/ultrabooks) and tablets.
The report further said that if they are unable to finish development work on schedule, they are still going to try for a launch date before the end of the year.
