Microsoft has been rolling out a bunch of social features on their Bing search platform.
These features are largely restricted to the US market at the moment.
Users get the option to collaborate with their Facebook friends while researching a topic.
Bing suggest friends who might have knowledge related to your searched query based on their past social updates.
Microsoft is now rolling out another update to this social searching platform. You can now manually tag friends while sharing a search.
Microsoft said:
Now you can involve even more of your Facebook friends by typing their name and tagging them when sharing a search. This allows you to effortlessly tap into the collective wisdom of your social network, and get input from your friends who are in the know. When searching on Bing, simply enter a question or comment in the sidebar and type the name of a friend on Facebook to tag him or her (you can tag up to five friends at a time).
