Microsoft Bing social search now launched for everyone in USA

Microsoft has announced that they have opened up the new Bing search engine for everyone in the USA.

They can access the new updated social search engine at bing.com/new.

The newly updated Bing showcase results from social networks like Twitter and Facebook.

It also features a social sidebar with your Facebook account where you can share your results. You can also ask for help from your Facebook contacts right from the Bing search result page.

Microsoft spoke about this update:

As you search, Bing suggests friends on Facebook who might know about the topic you’re searching for based on what they “like”, their Facebook profile information, and photos they’ve shared.

We’re just getting started bringing friends into your search experience and will continue getting better over time.
