Microsoft continues to work hard on attracting users of rival smartphone platforms to their own Windows Phone OS.

The company has now launched a web based demo of their Windows Phone 7 platform that works from a mobile web browser.

The idea is to let Android and iOS users to check what Windows Phone 7 is like right from their own smartphones.

The demo supports tapping and swiping to show the user interface of the Windows Phone 7 platform which is of course very different in nature from both Android and iOS.
