Microsoft has confirmed that they are going to launch mobile edition of their Microsoft Lync instant messaging platform for several platforms.
A company representative tweeted that they are going to launch apps for Windows Phone, Google Android, Blackberry OS, and Apple iOS platforms.
The tweet did not mention Symbian though it is also likely to be included in the release.

Microsoft Lync is currently supported only on Windows and Mac OS X platforms. It would be good to see a mobile edition for corporate users.
