Microsoft Lync mobile app launched for Windows Phone, iOS, Android, and Symbian
Microsoft has announced the launch of Lync mobile app for multiple mobile platforms.
They have launched the version for Windows Phone themselves.
Google Android edition is also available now from the Android market.
Versions for Apple iPhone and iPad would soon be available from Apple App Store.
Symbian edition should also be available in a matter of hours.
Microsoft spoke about this mobile app:
The Lync 2010 mobile clients combine instant messaging, conferencing, and calling features in a single application that’s both familiar to Lync users and optimized for mobile productivity.
Today is an important step for Lync on the road to fulfilling its promise as a ubiquitous communications tool and I’m proud to be a part of the team delivering these clients to our customers.
