Microsoft has surprised me yet again as they have just launched their SkyDrive mobile app for Android devices.

The app looks pretty capable. In fact, it looks more powerful than the official Google Drive app from Google.

Features:

• Access all of your SkyDrive content including files shared with you.
• View recently used documents.
• Choose multiple photos or videos to upload from your phone.
• Share your files and photos – send a link in email or in another app.
• Open your SkyDrive files in other Android apps.
• Manage your files – delete, or create new folders.

Google Drive of course has an internal viewer and editor for office files. SkyDrive app seems to rely on third party apps for the same.
