Microsoft SkyDrive now support Open Document Format


Microsoft has delivered another update on their SkyDrive Cloud Storage platform.

The service now supports ODF documents. In addition users also get a couple of other features:

Sharing to Twitter
300MB uploads from web browsers
A short link service (sdrv.ms) for shares to Twitter

The company promises that they have some major new features coming up on SkyDrive in the near future.

Google is also expected to launch their Google Drive in the coming days. They have a lot to catch up to with respect to SkyDrive and other services in the market.
