Microsoft recently showcased self-branded Tablet PC model Surface running Windows RT edition.

Sources now say that the first generation Surface Tablet would support only wireless internet connections.

Microsoft did not mention anything about cellular internet support during the event and it looks like Wi-Fi support is all it would feature initially.

Most Tablet PCs in the market come only with Wi-Fi support though there is enough demand for Tablets with SIM support so that they can connect to internet on the move.
