Motorola Atrix 4G not getting Android Ice Cream Sandwich after all
Motorola seems to have given up on the idea of releasing the Android ICS update for their Atrix 4G smartphone.
This model should have received this update by now as per the deadline promised by the company but it never arrived.
The updated information provided by Motorola does not feature this phone now which means that the owners of this phone would be stuck on the Gingerbread build of Android.
Motorola Atrix 4G was launched in the first quarter of 2011 and was one of the most exciting products at that time from the company.
This is not good news for Google which now owns Motorola Mobility. If they themselves cannot deliver on the promises made to the consumer, how can they expect other Android makers to do the same?
