Motorola shipped just 1 million Tablets in 2011!

Motorola Mobility has just come out with their revenue report and the numbers are disappointing.

Google is acquiring them for USD 12.5 billion but their revenue report does not make them look like they are worth this much.

The company made a loss of USD 80 million on revenues of USD 3.4 billion in the last quarter of 2011.

Worse? They shipped just around 200,000 Tablet PCs in the last quarter of 2011. Full year figures are around 1 million units.

Apple in comparison sold more than 15 million units of the iPad in the last quarter alone!

It is not clear if Motorola is capable of turning around in the coming months. Google has already said that they are not going to give them any special treatment.
