Mozilla Firefox 13 launched with new home and tab pages

Mozilla developers have released a new stable build of Firefox.

Firefox 13 is now available as a free download and it features a brand new home and tab page.

Homepage shows the Google search box in addition to quick shortcuts to bookmarks, history, settings, and more.

New Tab Page now has thumbnails of the most visited webpages in the history. This feature is similar to what Chrome and Opera already offer.

Firefox 13 also comes with SPDY support enabled by default. Mozilla has also made smooth scrolling a default setting.

Firefox 13 should restore faster from a saved session as it only loads a tab when you switch to it.
