Mozilla has not renewed their search deal with Google yet!

Mozilla’s search deal for Firefox browser with Google was supposed to end in November.

They have still not confirmed if the deal has been renewed or they have gone with another player.

Mozilla has not renewed their search deal with Google yet!

This means that they could lose the major source of revenue for their operations.

Sources say that Mozilla makes 85% of their revenues through Google by offering their search engine as default in their web browser solutions.

Microsoft could turn out to be an alternative. The software giant is working hard on making Bing a relevant alternative to Google and they might be willing to pay as much if not more to make it the new default search engine in Firefox.

We can only hope that Mozilla confirms some kind of a deal in the coming days.
