MySpace has reportedly acquired 1 million new members since ownership change
Online sources are indicating that MySpace has acquired more than 1 million new subscribers ever since the ownership of the company was changed.
Tim and Chris Vanderhook along with Justin Timberlake were the investors who spent around $35 million to acquire the social network from News Corp.
MySpace of course was once the world’s largest social networking platform back in 2008 with around 75.9 million unique visitors a month.
Things changed after Facebook opened its network to general public and is currently one of the most visited websites on the web today.
MySpace is likely to make an official announcement later today. The service no longer calls itself a social network. Instead, it prefers Social Entertainment punchline.
