Netflix has released an updated version of their mobile app for the Windows Phone platform.

The updated app support video streaming in the newer markets: Latin America, UK and Ireland.

The company said:

Netflix on Windows Phone has always been popular with our members in US and Canada, where it has been available since November, 2010. The expanded support will allow Netflix members anywhere Netflix is available to enjoy TV shows and movies on a broader selection of smartphones.

To support the consumers in these new markets, Netflix has also added support for local languages in the app. Netflix further said that the updated app should also deliver improved performance for all users.
