AT&T still not prepared to handle tethering on Apple iPhone

AT&T had admitted that they are still not prepared to offer tethering capabilities on the iPhone smartphone on their network.

The company recently enabled the MMS functionality on the iPhone after upgrading their networks to handle the potential overload on the system.

However, their network is still not capable enough to handle thousands of iPhone users tethering the device with their laptops on the go.

It remains to be seen how much more time AT&T needs to offer this service to iPhone users considering it is already available in several international markets.
