TechCrunch post evidence from Twitter on the Google Phone

TechCrunch has been one of the few established blogs which claims that the Google Phone is real.

They have now posted some Tweets from Google employees which further boost the credibility of their claims.

Several Googlers have tweeted in the last couple of hours about this much rumored ‘Google Phone’ that has been developed for the company by HTC.

Google is expected to launch this self branded device early next year.

The company has apparently gifted this device to some (or all) of their employees for free as a holiday present.

Google Phone is likely to come powered with Android 2.1. The latest Android edition available in the market right now is Android 2.0 which powers the Motorola Droid available through Verizon.
