Apple might be looking into acquiring iCall
Business Insider has reported that Apple is considering acquiring VoIP service provider iCall.
This acquisition deal could be worth between $50-60 million.
Industry analysts believe that this deal makes sense for Apple.
Google recently acquired VoIP company Gizmo5 and reports claim that Google could use their technology to incorporate VoIP calling capabilities in their Android platform.
Apple could use iCall technology to provide a similar feature in their iPhone smartphone that would enable their customers to make online calls using any form of internet connectivity.
