Seagate launches Momentus Thin drive for laptops
Seagate has launched a new 2.5-inch laptop hard drive named Momentus Thin.
The special feature about this new drive is that it is just 7mm thin compared to 9.5mm for rival drives.
This would enable system manufacturers to develop thinner and compact products surrounding this hard drive.
The thinness of this drive also makes it a viable alternative to solid state drives which have become fairly popular in the recent times.
Seagate Momentus Thin is available in two capacities: 250GB and 160GB.
