Nissan is doing a pretty good job with their new models in the Indian market. The company has just launched their latest model, a MUV Evalia in India.

The company said that they are now planning to bring 10 new models in India in the next four years.

This would include the introduction of their Datsun brand in the Indian market.

Nissan India said:

Expansion in emerging markets, BRICS is key to achieve this goal of 8 per cent global market share. India is a significant market for us. We will launch 10 new models by FY’16, which is introducing two new models every year.

Nissan currently has following models on sale in the Indian market:

Nissan Micra mid-range hatchback
Nissan Sunny mid-range sedan
Nissan Teana premium sedan
Nissan X-Trail premium SUV
Nissan 370Z sports car
Nissan Evalia multi-purpose vehicle
