Looks like Nokia is struggling with their Windows Phone based smartphones here in India.

Nokia Lumia 710 not doing well in India?

The company has just dropped the price of their Lumia 710 model. It is now available for as low as Rs. 15,500 at some stores.

Flipkart is selling it at around Rs. 15700.

This is the cheaper of the two Lumia series models on sale in the Indian market. And with this price cut, it is pretty much the cheapest Windows Phone smartphone in India.

Nokia has not revealed how well these phones are selling but looking at the price cut, it is clear that they are not doing very well.

Nokia can however change the scenario by lowering the price of their Nokia Lumia 800 model as well. They pretty much made a mistake pricing it close to Samsung Galaxy S II model.
