Nokia showcased their latest smartphone model Lumia 920 earlier this week. The company did not reveal anything about the launch period though reports say that AT&T could bring it to their network on November 2.

Nokia Lumia 920 is their first model to be based on the Windows Phone 8 platform. Microsoft is expected to finish development work on this platform next week and the final build should be with manufacturing partners then.

Microsoft itself is expected to announce the launch of Windows Phone 8 as a mobile platform on October 29 around the same time as the launch of Windows 8 operating system for desktops and laptops.
