Nokia: Verizon and Sprint would soon sell Lumia devices

Nokia has revealed that they are working with Verizon and Sprint in the US market to launch Lumia smartphones on their network.

The company further said that they are on track to launch Windows Phone smartphones with their PureView technology later this year.

Nokia is in a bad spot right now. None of their existing Lumia branded products would get the Windows Phone 8 platform.

Microsoft has revealed plans to launch an update named WP 7.8 for these products to bring most of the new UI enhancements on existing devices.

T-Mobile and AT&T are the only operators selling Lumia devices in the US market.
