Nuance is already powering the tech behind Apple Siri and similar apps.

The company has now launched a brand new product named Nina which is aimed at app developers.

Nuance wants to enable developers to incorporate voice recognition in their own apps. This can be used for authentication or processing commands.

Nuance would be handing the recognition while the app developers can program functionality based on different commands that are made available to the end user.

The idea is pretty cool as it works on the platform as a service concept. It can turn into a solid revenue generation service for the company.
