Opera Software has launched the latest version of their desktop browser. Opera 12.10 is now available as a free download.

The company has improved support for third party extensions. They have also improved support for the recently launched Windows 8 OS with optimizations for touchscreen displays.

On OS X, Opera now has full support for Retina displays. It also support the native share feature of OS X.

There are tons of internal improvements too including support for SPDY and new web standards.
