OS X Mountain Lion would check for latest security updates on a daily basis

Apple has released an update of OS X Mountain Lion developer’s preview.

The latest update is focused on improving the security aspects of the OS.

OS X Mountain Lion would try to fetch latest security updates from the Apple servers on a daily basis.

These updates would be downloaded and installed automatically in the background or on next restart.

Apple has also worked on ensuring that the connectivity between the OS X and their servers is secure.

OS X suffered a major security nightmare recently with the Flashback malware attack and Apple can no longer claim that OS X is a secure platform by default.
