Reddit has implemented ban on multiple sites from their platform

Reddit has rolled out an update on their platform which allows them to ban complete domains.

This means that any webpage from these domains would not be allowed to be posted by their users.

The company has not revealed an official list of domains though a subreddit is collecting the domains noticed by the users.

So far, the unofficial list include following domains:

theatlantic.com
phys.org
businessweek.com
sciencedaily.com
funny-on-youtube.com
theatlanticwire.com
globalpost.com
echomon.co.uk
medicalxpress.com
theatlanticcities.com

Reddit has also block posting of links from link shortening services like bitly and goo.gl.
