Renault would launch their fifth new model in the Indian market before Diwali this year.

The company is planning to launch an entry level sedan named Scala. This is the same segment where sister company Nissan sells their Sunny model.

Scala is likely to feature similar engine options as the Sunny. The two companies have been sharing a lot of technology for their products in the Indian market.

Renault Scala is expected to launch with the diesel option first. A petrol variant could be launched at a later stage.

The company just recently introduced their Duster SUV model at attractive prices which has become one of the hottest new products in the Indian market.
