If you wanted to see how hard RIM is struggling these days, just look at their stock price.
The company’s stock is currently trading at around USD 9.66 which puts their market capitalization at just around USD 5.06 billion!
The Blackberry maker is now totally dependent upon the launch of Blackberry 10 mobile platform later this year which would power their next generation devices.
If they fail to succeed with this new platform and devices, they are unlikely to survive independently for long.
It would not be surprising if RIM is acquired by one of the other mobile manufacturing giants in the coming years.
