Rovio has announced plans to target serious gaming consoles with their Angry Birds Franchise.
The company would launch a trilogy of the massively successful gaming franchise on three new platforms:
Nintendo 3DS
These games are expected to ship on physical media (DVD/Blu-ray). Rovio said that they are targeting hardcore fans of the game to add these editions into their collections.
Rovio hinted that these games are going to be optimized for individual consoles. Xbox edition could feature support for the Kinect. PlayStation version could support Move controllers. 3DS edition might support StreetPass.
