Reuters has reported about the rumored Google Drive project that is likely to launch in the next couple of days.

There is nothing new in this report as it still talks about 5GB free storage. Microsoft SkyDrive has already launched their desktop syncing app along with 7GB free storage. Existing users can claim 25GB storage as it was available before.

Google Drive launch delay is making the service irrelevant already. And it if indeed ships with just 5GB of free storage, few people would be interested in it looking at the alternatives available in the market.
