Samsung is preloading Google Android ICS edition on the new units of Galaxy S II that are being sold in the Indian market.

The update was released recently and is being delivered to owners of older units of S II.

The new units with ICS were imported to India in April. So if you are buying a phone with import date listed as April or later, it should come with Ice Cream Sandwich build.

The phone originally launched with Gingerbread edition.
