Samsung Galaxy S II on T-Mobile USA no longer has universal search
T-Mobile USA has released an update for the Samsung Galaxy S II on their network. The company did not reveal much but it is now clear that the update removes the universal search functionality from the phone.
Universal search feature is being removed from Android based devices because of a patent owned by Apple.
Thankfully, the patent is limited to the US market and the international models are not affected.
Galaxy S III has already received a similar update that disables the universal search functionality.
