IFA 2012 launched with a bang today. Samsung showcased their Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 based devices that would arrive in the market later this year. The company also announced the second generation Galaxy Note smartphone.

Samsung had some more good news for their customers. The company said that they are nearing the release of Google Android Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note 10.1 devices.

Samsung’s presentation also mentioned that Jelly Bean update is coming out soon for Galaxy Note as well. Though an official announcement was not made separately.

This is good news for the owners of the recently launched Samsung products. However, their policy regarding their older devices continues to disappoint millions of users out there.
