Samsung has announced that they would not launch their Windows RT devices in the US market.

The company said that there is a lot of confusion about the capabilities of Windows RT based devices.

And they do not want to end up dealing with frustrated customers who bought Windows RT devices only to realize that they cannot run regular Windows applications.

Microsoft has been heavily criticized for not doing enough to educate customers about the differences between Windows RT and Windows 8.

Samsung has ATIV branded Tablets powered with ARM processors running Windows RT.
