Fudzilla has reported that Seagate might be interested in acquiring OCZ Technology.

OCZ Technology deals in solid state storage products and this would be a solid acquisition for Seagate.

They are unlikely to be only player interested in such an acquisition deal. They are likely to face competing bids from other players in the storage market.

The deal is likely to be in the region of USD 300-310 million which is around the market capitalization of OCZ. This could however increase massively if the bidding war heats up!
