You can now search for events on Google Plus (in your city!)

Google+ Events launched recently with impressive features like Party Mode powered by the mobile apps for Android and iOS.

And Google has added Events section in the Google+ search menu. Combined with keywords relevant to your city, you get the power to search for public events being held in your locality!

You just have to search for your city (or locality) name and then filter the search for events results.

This is a very powerful way to keep an eye on what is going on in your city. However, it only works if the event organizers are using Google+ to manage them. And of course, you would have to ignore the public events created as tests by folks still messing around with this feature!
