Searches made on Facebook now part of user’s activity log

Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg recently gave some indication that search is something that they can do in the future.

The company has just rolled out an update on their platform. User’s searches on the Facebook network are now added to their activity log.

This can just be the beginning of the Facebook’s own search platform as they are now keeping track of what the user has searched for in the past.

This is an important element to offer a very personalized search engine service that could be launched in the future.

Google already has a similar feature named Web History which is used to deliver improved results on their own search platform.

Google is also testing out a History feature on their Google+ platform which also keeps a detailed log of searches made on their platform.
